VERONA, Wis. - The South Dakota State women's golf team opens the 2024-25 season at the Badger Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Sunday through Tuesday at University Ridge Golf Course.

The Jackrabbits will be led by Piper Stubbs in their season opener, followed by McKenzie Mages, Molly O'Hara, Reese Jansa and Shakira-Ann Kuys. Stubbs and Mages were the top two Jackrabbits a season ago in terms of stroke average. Mages averaged 74.87 shots per round as a sophomore and Stubbs averaged 75.29 strokes.

LAST TIME OUT
South Dakota State finished third at the 2024 Summit League Championship, led by ninth-place finishes from Mages and Alex Kandolin. The Jackrabbits finished in the top three for the eighth time in the last nine Summit League Championships. The squad's 908 (+44) team score tied them with St. Thomas for third. The Jacks carded a 293 (+5) round on the final day, their best team score of the week.
