South Dakota State returns to Brookings to host No. 2 Texas Sunday afternoon at First Bank & Trust Arena in the Jackrabbits' final game of the 2025 portion of the schedule.
South Dakota State is coming off a loss at Duke Thursday night, which ended the Jackrabbits' five-game win streak. The Jacks are 10-3 overall with one game remaining on their non-conference slate.
Texas is 13-0 overall and one of five unbeaten teams left in the country. The Longhorns have seven players averaging at least 10 points, five of which have played in all 13 games. Madison Booker, the reigning SEC Player of the Year, leads the charge with a 19.1 PPG scoring average at a .543 clip. All but two Texas players are scoring at least 7.0 points per game. The Longhorns are 5-0 against ranked teams this year.
