Competed in cross country (2001-2006) going to the state meet every year and track (2002-2007) from 7th to 12 grade going to state from 2004-2007 ... a part of the third place cross country team at state in 2003 and 2004 ... at the state meet in 2004, a member of the second place 3200 meter relay team that broke the school record and a part of the fifth place 1600 meter relay team ... ran both relays with her two sisters ... was named MVP of her cross country in 2005 ... named student athlete of the month twice ... was awarded the "National Girls and Women in Sports Day" award and wa chose as outstanding female athlete of the year in her high school ... member of the National Honor Society and made the academic all-state list
