BROOKINGS, S.D.—The South Dakota State women's basketball team concludes a three-game homestand Wednesday when it hosts the Northern Iowa Panthers at 7 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
- SDSU, 6-2, extended its win streak to three games with a 66-62 win Dec. 5 for its fourth home win this season.
- Summit League Player of the Year candidate Macy Miller led four Jackrabbits in double digits in scoring with 14 points vs. the Bears.
- Northern Iowa enters the game on a three-game losing streak and with a 3-4 record. The Panthers lost to North Dakota, 64-59, on the road Dec. 5.
- It will be the 10th meeting between the Jacks and the Panthers. SDSU holds a 6-3 series record, has won the last three games and sports a 3-2 record in Frost Arena.

- CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—Dec. 29, 2014—Using a 19-2 run early in the first half, South Dakota State defeated Northern Iowa, 74-60, in front of 1,984 fans in McLeod Arena.
- Macy Miller scored a then-career-high 25 points, shooting 9 of 12 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free-throw line. Megan Waytashek tallied 19 points. Mariah Clarin and Chynna Stevens each grabbed six rebounds.
- After UNI jumped out to a 7-2 lead, the Jackrabbits forced the Panthers to miss their next 10 shots and turn the ball over 7 times. Ellie Thompson and Waytashek scored seven and six points, respectively to fuel the run.
- The Jacks led by 16, 36-20, with 1:06 left, but Northern Iowa sank two of its six first-half three-pointers with 27 seconds left to cut SDSU's lead going into halftime, 38-28.
- In the second half, UNI used a 10-2 run to pull within four points, 46-42, at 16:34, but Waytashek scored the next six points to push the lead to 10 points, 52-42. The Panthers got to within 8 points three times but SDSU outscored Northern Iowa, 11-7, the final five minutes for the win.
