After finishing the first portion of the 14-game Summit League schedule with a 6-1 record, the South Dakota State women's basketball team faces its longtime rival North Dakota State for a second time Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex in Fargo.

The Jackrabbits are 17-5 overall and sit second in league play, a game and half behind South Dakota.

Thursday's game will be the 87th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Bison. SDSU leads the series 47-39. South Dakota State won the first meeting, 83-63, Jan. 6, in Frost Arena. It has won the last six games in the series, including the last two in Fargo.
