After winning its first two Summit League games in the friendly confines of Frost Arena last week, the South Dakota State women's basketball team plays the first of just two road games in January when it tips at Denver Thursday at 8 p.m.

The Jackrabbits enter the week with a 12-4 overall record and 2-0 Summit League mark. They are just one of two teams still undefeated in league play (South Dakota).

With the NDSU win, SDSU has now won its last 16 home games against league members and extended its overall home winning streak to five, dating to a 67-61 win over Oklahoma Dec. 6.

Denver is 10-7 overall and 1-1 in The Summit League after winning at Fort Wayne Jan. 6. Freshman Claire Gritt and senior Jordyn Alt netted 17 and 14 points, respectively, to lead the Pioneers.

Thursday's game will be the 13th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Pioneers. SDSU leads the series 11-1.
