The 2017-18 Summit League regular-season title will be on the line Wednesday when the South Dakota State women's basketball team travels south for a 7 p.m. game against South Dakota in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center in the South Dakota Corn Showdown Series.

The Jackrabbits are 22-5 overall and sit second in Summit League play, a game and a half behind South Dakota, with an 11-1 mark.

If the Jacks win Wednesday and at Fort Wayne Saturday, SDSU will share the regular-season title with the Coyotes. They will be the No. 1 seed in The Summit League Tournament because of a higher RPI ranking.

Madison Guebert scored a game-high 20 points to lead three Jackrabbits in double figures.

South Dakota is 23-5 overall and 13-0 in The Summit League after defeating Oral Roberts, 72-55, Feb. 17. Senior guard Jasmine Trimboli led three in double digits with a game-high 16 points.

Wednesday's game will be the 84th meeting between the Jackrabbits and the Coyotes. SDSU leads the series 56-27. South Dakota won the season's first meeting, 67-61, Jan. 25, in Frost Arena.

- South Dakota enters the game with the nation's sixth-longest win streak and 16th-longest home win streak. SDSU's six-straight wins ranks 25th in the NCAA.
- The last time USD lost and lost at home was Dec. 16 to Tulsa in Vermillion.
- The only Summit League team, men or women, to go undefeated in league play was Northern Illinois in 1993-94 when it finished 18-0. The Huskies lost in the championship game to Green Bay.
- The Jackrabbits last won in Vermillion March 2, 2014. SDSU won 99-88 when Megan Waytashek led five Jackrabbits in double figures with 18 points.
