Women's Swim & Dive Earns Academic Honor

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The South Dakota State women's swimming and diving team has been honored for its dedication in the classroom.
The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) selected the SDSU women's team to the Scholar All-America Team for the 2018 Fall Semester after having posted a 3.34 team GPA, as announced by the Summit League office Friday afternoon.
Six other Summit League swimming and diving programs earned this honor as well. In order to obtain this recognition, the team is required to establish at least a 3.0 GPA and hold a roster of over 12 student-athletes during Fall Semester.
Across the nation, a record 713 teams were selected by the CSCAA's Scholar All-America committee.
