Men to Host Three Events in 2019-20

South Dakota State golf released its schedules for both its men's and women's programs Wednesday morning.
Each team will play 11 events over the course of the season, broken down to five events in the fall and five in the spring, capped with the Summit League Championship in Newton, Kan.
"This year's schedule is the toughest we have had in my time at SDSU," said head coach Casey VanDamme. "We pride ourselves in playing a great schedule and look forward to the challenge of playing championship level courses as well as competition. We look forward to a great year."
The men open the year at the Island Resort Collegiate Invitational Sept. 1-2 in Escanaba, Mich. before heading to Madison, Wis. for the Badger Invitational Sept. 8-10 for the fourth straight year.
For the fifth consecutive year, the Jacks will then host The Jackrabbit at The Prairie Club, Dunes Course in Valentine, Neb. Sept. 29-30.
Then the team will round out the fall schedule with the Franklin American Mortgage Intercollegiate Oct. 6-8 and the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational Oct. 20-21.
The Jackrabbits return to action Feb. 21-23 in Palm Desert, Calif. At the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.
The 11th annual Jackrabbit Invitational will take place March 6-7 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
SDSU will head to Oregon March 23-24 for the Duck Invitational before wrapping up the regular season at the Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. (April 11-12) and Hawkeye Invitational in Iowa City, Iowa (April 18-19).
Summit League Championship competition will take place in Newton, Kan. May 3-5.
