BROOKINGS— Returning to Brookings for the first time since 2017, the Jackrabbits battled muddy conditions at Edgebrook Golf Course to take first place in both the men's and women's races at the 13
th SDSU Classic.

Running in front of the home crowd, the men pulled away with a score of 25, coming in ahead of Summit League foes North Dakota State (54) and North Dakota (110).

Thomas Breuckman finished first for the Jacks and set a new personal record, coming in fourth overall with a time of 25:25.17 in the 8K race.

Close behind him and also grabbing a new personal best time was
Joseph Minor-Williams who came in fifth overall at 25:30.35.
