South Dakota State swimmer Alyssa Eckstein will be competing at the 2020 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Invitational Championship, March 12-14 in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Freshman will swim in the 50 breast Thursday, the 100 breast Friday and the 200 breast Saturday. Prelims begin at 9:30 a.m. with finals at 6 p.m. each day. Live results will be available on Meet Mobile and at SwimCloud.com.
Eckstein earned All-Summit League for her performance at the 2020 Summit League Championships in February. She placed third in each the 100 and 200 breast and swam an SDSU record-breaking 4:23.52 in the 400 IM, placing second.
The event will be hosted by Cleveland State and held at the Robert F. Busby Natatorium. In order to minimize the potential for COVID-19 exposure, the event will not be permitting spectators, however, the CSCAA will provide a live stream for all three finals sessions on YouTube.
