JACKRABBITS SWEEP SUMMIT GOLF AWARDS

SIOUX FALLS - South Dakota State's Matthew Schaefer and Teresa Toscano were named the Summit League Golfers of the Week, the League office announced Wednesday.

Schaefer competed as an individual at the Jackrabbit Invitational where he finished tied for third. The junior carded scores of 69-67-71 to finish the 54-hole event at nine-under 207. Schaefer broke 70 for the first time as a Jackrabbit.

Toscano won the Jackrabbit Invitational and also led SDSU to claim the team title. She recorded scores of 71-78-69 to finish the event with 218 (+2). The senior captured the fifth individual title in her career, three of which have come at the Jackrabbit Invitational.

Toscano's honor is the 11^th weekly or monthly golf honor she has collected during her career, which ties her for the third most in league history.

The women's golf team is back in action March 12-13 at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational, while the men will resume play at the Duck Invitational March 22-23.
