South Dakota State returns to Brookings to host Kansas City (Thursday) and Omaha (Saturday) at Frost Arena.
The Jackrabbits won the first SDSU-KC meeting of the year 72-49 at the Swinney Center in Kansas City January 25. The Roos are 11-15 on the season and 2-9 in Summit League action. Their most recent result was an 86-71 road victory at North Dakota.
SDSU topped Omaha 92-55 in Omaha January 18 behind five players in double figures.
Paige Meyer put up 18 and
Madison Mathiowetz scored 16.
Mesa Byom finished with 11 rebounds to go with eight points, two blocks and two steals. Omaha most recently fell 80-74 at North Dakota State.
South Dakota State is 18-5 on the season with a 10-0 conference mark and 12-game win streak. The Jackrabbits have held its opponents to 58 points or fewer in all but two conference games (both to Oral Roberts).
KEY STORYLINES
- SDSU carries a 12-game win streak into this weekend's contests against Kansas City and Omaha. The Jacks are 18-5 on the year (10-0 Summit) with four of five losses coming to ranked teams.
