For the sixth straight season, the South Dakota State volleyball team has earned the AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT, as announced by the organization Wednesday.
The award recognizes volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. The Jackrabbit was one of more than 1,400 teams nationwide to be recognized. SDSU was honored for the 13th time overall.
