South Dakota State enters the Summit League Tournament with a 26-3 overall record and perfect 16-0 mark against conference opponents this season. SDSU earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament for the fifth straight season.
The Jackrabbits are the first team in Summit League history to go undefeated in regular season action three straight years. Further, SDSU is 81-1 in the conference regular season going back to the beginning of the 2020-21 season.
Entering the week, South Dakota State is 38-5 all-time at the Summit League Tournament and has won back-to-back tournament titles. The Jacks have played in 13 title games since 2009 and and 11-2 in those contests.
KEY STORYLINES
- SDSU entered the Summit League Tournament as the No. 1 seed for the fifth straight season and 10th time overall. The Jacks are the two-time defending tournament champs and have won 11 tournament titles since 2009.
- Sunday marks 1,097 days since the Jackrabbits have lost to a Summit League opponent, dating back to March 8, 2022. A win on Sunday would be 59 straight for SDSU and rank eighth in NCAA history for consecutive wins against a conference opponent (regular season + postseason).
