South Dakota State and South Dakota face off in the Summit League semifinal round for the third time in the history. These teams are 1-1 in those matchups.
The Jackrabbits advanced to the second round with a 75-61 win over No. 7 Kansas City in the opening round. The No. 3 Coyotes beat No. 6 Denver 61-50 Friday afternoon.

- SDSU goes into Saturday having won eight straight games, a streak that includes an 82-49 win over USD in the regular season finale.
- Following Thursday's win, SDSU is 42-5 all-time in the Summit League Tournament with 12 tournament titles, including each of the last three.

- Paced by Brooklyn Meyer's .655 individual field goal percentage, which ranks third in the country, SDSU is seventh in the nation as a team at .488.
