South Dakota State and IPFW went to extra points in the first set of Friday night's volleyball match before the Mastodons won 30-28, and gave them all of the momentum they would need to sweep the Jackrabbits 3-0 in front of 459 fans at Frost Arena.

Following the extra long first set, IPFW cruised to a 25-19 win in the second set and a 25-16 win in the third set to secure the win and the season series sweep.
