The South Dakota State volleyball team ran away with the first two sets, struggled in a third set loss, but recovered nicely in the fourth set to defeat IUPUI on Saturday night at Frost Arena by the score of 3-1.
"It's great to come out with a strong start in the first and second sets," said SDSU head coach Nanabah Allison-Brewer. "We were able to get some great playing time for a lot of people at the beginning, which shows the depth that our team has."
The Jackrabbits, who won by the set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 14-25, 25-13, improve to 5-8 overall, 4-2 in The Summit League and a perfect 4-0 at home. The Jaguars fall to 10-4 overall and 3-2 in league play.
