BROOKINGS, S.D.—After playing its final home game of 2015, the South Dakota State women's basketball team begins a four-game road trip with its first stop at Green Bay Saturday at 5 p.m.
- SDSU, 9-2, extended its win streak to six Tuesday with an 88-79 upset of No. 16 DePaul.
- Summit League Player of the Year candidate Macy Miller led four Jackrabbits in double digits in scoring with 19 points.
- Green Bay defeated Loyola (Chicago), 65-51, Wednesday. The Phoenix are 7-2 overall and 3-0 at home. They will be protecting a four-game winning streak. Green Bay's last lost was to Rutgers in the Paradise Jam Nov. 28.
- It will be the fourth meeting between the Jacks and the Phoenix. Green Bay leads the series, 2-1.
Noteworthy
- Two of the top 10 teams in the mid-major rankings square off Saturday. Green Bay is third in the CollegeInsider Mid-Major poll while the Jackrabbits are seventh.
- Both teams limit their opponents in scoring. The Phoenix give up 56.3 points per game and SDSU 64.5 while averaging 65.8 and 69.8 points per game, respectively.
- South Dakota State has a 328-219 (.599) record in road games during the program's 50-year history. It has won six of its last seven games. The last nonconference road loss was at Marist, 82-64, Dec. 21, 2014.

- Former Jackrabbit Megan Vogel is one of Green Bay's assistant coaches.
- Vogel graduated from South Dakota State in May 2007 after starting all 120 of the Jackrabbits' contests during her standout four-year career. She finished second all-time on the program's scoring list with 1,850 points.
- Additionally, she notched 194 career 3-pointers and 783 career rebounds, good for the third- and fifth-best marks, respectively, in program history.
- During her time with the SDSU program, Vogel was an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America with a 3.8 cumulative GPA and a top 30 finalist for the 2007 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.
