BROOKINGS, S.D.—Two of the last unbeaten Summit League teams take the court Thursday when the South Dakota State women's basketball team hosts Omaha at 7 p.m. in the friendly confines of Frost Arena.
- SDSU is 12-3 overall, 2-0 in league play, and received four votes in the latest Associated Press poll after avenging its second league road loss from last year with an 81-63 win at North Dakota State Jan. 3.
- Summit League Player of the Year candidate Macy Miller led four Jackrabbits in double digits in scoring with a game-high 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field. All-conference candidates Kerri Young and Ellie Thompson each netted 16 points, and Thompson produced her second double-double of the season with a career-high 12 rebounds.
- The Jackrabbits are protecting a four-game winning streak and the NCAA's seventh-longest win streak vs. league opponents (10) Thursday. With three wins in a row, the Jackrabbits look to make it four for the first time since winning six consecutive games between Nov. 28 and Dec. 15.
