South Dakota State men's golf will compete in the 2021 Summit League Men's Golf Championship May 1-3 at the Sand Creek Golf Club in Newton, Kansas.

The nine-team tournament will consist of 54 holes with three rounds being played over the course of three days. Tee times begin at 8 a.m. CT each day. The Par-72, 7,086-yard course has played host to the past four Summit League Men's Golf Championships.

South Dakota State's lineup will feature Jack Tanner, Liam Georgiadis, Matthew Schaefer, Will Frazier and Sam Batta.

The Jackrabbits finished tied for second out of nine teams the last time the Summit League championship took place in 2019. Defending champion Denver finished 15 strokes ahead of both the Jacks and South Dakota.

SDSU concluded the regular season placing 10th out of 12 teams at the Hawkeye Invitational April 17-18 in Iowa City, Iowa. Its best finish of the season came when it took second out of nine teams at the Stampede at the Creek April 12-13 in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Jacks rank fifth in the conference in team scoring average with 298.4 over 18 rounds of play. All-Summit League Second Team selection Jack Tanner led the team in scoring average, with 73.72. Liam Georgiadis and James Temple follow with season stroke averages of 74.78 and 74.94, respectively.
