South Dakota State won all 10 swimming events contested to score a 135-53 victory over Northern State in a women's swimming and diving dual Friday at the Marshall Center Pool.
The Jackrabbits evened their record at 2-2 on the season while Northern State dropped to 0-3.
Jenna Currier was a two-time winner in the sprint freestyle events to lead SDSU. She led a Jackrabbit sweep of the top three spots in the 50-yard freestyle with a winning time of 24.42 seconds, followed by teammates and fellow seniors Mia Pendleton (:24.51) and Aubrey Douds (:25.77).
Currier later claimed the 100 freestyle in 54.24 seconds.
Other winners in the freestyle events were Hannah Miller in the 200 (1:59.47) and Gigi Hioki in the 500 (5:20.86).
SDSU notched sweeps in three other events, starting with the 200 individual medley. Isabella Gnewuch turned in the top time in the event at 2:13.52, with Sara Juez taking second (2:14.01) and Maven Moore placing third (2:18.81).
Hannah Warmbrand paced the Jackrabbits in the 100 butterfly with a winning time of 1:00.15, followed by Douds (1:01.21) and Marissa Branham (1:03.97) in the top spots.
Rounding out the list of individual winners for SDSU was freshman Lucia Lopez in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:00.64.
SDSU also earned victories in both relays, including earning a 1-2 finish in the 200 medley relay to open the meet. The quartet of Lily Esmas, Jessalyn Carpenter, Gnewuch and Pendleton combined for a winning time of 1:49.51. The foursome of Kailee Crane, Peter, Emma Ingalls and Hailey Creary took second in 1:54.32.
To close out the meet, the 200 freestyle relay team of Creary, Hioki, Esmas and Miller posted a winning time of 1:39.96.
Jacie Flockhart was the lone winner for Northern State with a score of 200.90 in 1-meter diving. Lily Davis placed second for SDSU with 188.05 points over six dives.
